Machine Overview
This 2000 Mori-Seiki SV-400 Vertical Machining Center is configured for high-speed precision machining with multi-axis expansion capability. It features 23.4″ X-axis, 16.9″ Y-axis, and 18.1″ Z-axis travels, a 19.7″ x 35.4″ table rated for 1,100 lbs, a 12,000 RPM CAT 40 spindle powered by a 30 HP motor, and a 30-position automatic tool changer.
The machine is equipped with a Fanuc-MSC-501 5-axis CNC control, 4th- and 5th-axis drive and wiring, flood coolant system, full coolant/chip enclosure, spindle oil cooler, Showa automatic lubrication system, and rapid traverse rates up to 1,259 IPM. With a compact work envelope, high spindle speed, and multi-axis readiness, the SV-400 is well suited for precision components and higher-speed production machining.
