Machine Overview
This 2015 Doosan Puma 800LM CNC Lathe combines large-capacity turning with live-tooling capability for complex heavy-duty machining. It features a 40.6″ swing, 35.4″ maximum machining diameter, 126″ between centers, and a 12.6″ spindle bore. The spindle operates up to 750 RPM with a 50/60 HP main motor, while the 12-position turret and live tooling system provide milling capability at speeds up to 3,000 RPM with a 15 HP live-tool motor.
The machine is equipped with a Fanuc Series 32i-B 3-axis CNC control, 12.6″ bar capacity, live tooling, RIP manual steady rest, tailstock, chip conveyor, mist collector, coolant system with tank and pump, and miscellaneous standard and live-tool holders. Its combination of long turning capacity, large spindle bore, heavy construction, and live tooling makes the Puma 800LM well suited for large shafts, oilfield components, and other demanding production applications.
